LAB Seminars

On the 28th of October LAB hosted Jerzy Karyłowski, a professor at the Warsaw School of Social Psychology.

Jerzy Karyłowski is dean of the Psychology Department and chair of the Cognitive Social Psychology Department the Warsaw School of Social Psychology. He is also a professor at the University of North Florida. He specializes in the area of social psychology and methodology.

He holds a Ph.D. in Human Science from the Psychology Department at the University of Warsaw, and a postdoctoral degree from the Institute of Psychology - Polish Academy of Sciences. He was dean of the Psychology Department at the University of North Florida(1993-1994 and 1995-1997) as well as a visiting professor at many American and European Universities: University of Michigan, Stanford University, University of Utah, Ohio State University, Washington University, University of Oxford,

London School of Economics, Universitat Giessen. In 2001-2002 he has visited SWPS as a US Fulbright Fellow.

He is a member of the European Association of Experimental Social Psychology, Society of Experimental Social Psychology, Society for Personality and Social Psychology, International Society for Self and Identity.
